Small Group Bible Study
Saturday, 23 June 2007 07:54

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

Matthew 18:19-20

Small Groups consist of 12-18 adults who meet regulary in member's homes for:

  • Accountability
  • Bible Study
  • Support

Small group life can help you grow in many ways and help you be a more fully devoted follower of Christ.

You will grow in relationships.

The christian life is all about relationships--with God and with others.  God never meant for you to go it alone.  Whether you are experiencing hard times or the natural transitions of life, a Small Group can be your source of support and care.

Stephenson group

You will grow in faith.

As you see others growing through adversity, your faith will be strengthened, and as you praise God together for answered prayer, your faith will be deepened.

Danner Bible Study Group

You will grow in serving.

Too often, we expect to be "spectators" at church.  But, in Small Groups, you will live out what you are learning together.  Your spiritual gifts and abilities will be affirmed and you will be encouraged as you serve one another.

Browning Group

You will grow in obedience.

We are used to being taught the Bible in "sit and listen" situations.  Small Groups provide the next step, where you can ask questions, participate in discussions and hear the insight of others concerning the Bible.  You will grapple with the "how does this apply to my life" questions.

Shepherd Group

You will grow in sharing your faith.

Your unbelieving relatives, friends and co-workers might never attend a church service.  But they might come to a small group in someone's home.  Here, they can not only hear about the love of Jesus, but see it in action.
