"Shout with joy to the Lord, O earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy."

Psalm 100:1-2

The Worship Ministries of Napa Valley Baptist Church are committed to Exalting the Savior, Edifying the Saints and Evangelizing the Sinner in everything that is presented each and every week.  Our method is music and the arts, our message is Jesus, and our reason is eternity.

Adult Music

The Adult music ministry is led by Worship Pastor Jamie Butler.  Praise Team

The Praise Team is a dedicated group of singers and musicians who lead the congregation into an atmosphere of worship to the Lord.  Led by Worship Pastor Jamie Butler, the joy of the Lord is reflected on their faces and in their music every week.  A desire to worship, regular attendance at rehearsals, Church services, and an audition with Jamie is required to become a member of the Praise Team or Band.

The Adult Choir is the largest musical group in the music ministry.  This group of dedicated people meet on Sunday mornings at 8:30 for rehearsal, encouragement and prayer.  On Sundays, they lift their hearts and voices in worship and praise to the Lord.  Regular attendance at rehearsals, Church services and an interview with Jamie is required to become a member of the choir.

Technical Support

Clear and effective communication of God's truth is vital at NVBC.  Our platform ministry is supported by a number of teams serving in the area of Technical Arts including sound, lights, computer, decorations, set design, construction, etc..

The purpose of the Technical Arts Team is to effectively support the communication of God's truth so that life transormation can take place within the context of the community at NVBC.
